Event info

This course introduces the essentials of drawing including line, tone, mark making and composition. Students will be able to practice using a wide range of methods and materials, from pencil to charcoal and ink. Working from quick exercises to drawings of a longer duration, you will be able to learn how to draw from observation with confidence using a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques. You will be encouraged to develop a personal approach to an engaging range of subjects. Suitable for absolute beginners and more experienced students wanting to explore drawing in a supportive studio environment.

Suitable for adults 18+

You will need: Apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy! We'll supply the rest, tea and coffee included.
