Lichfield Guildhall

A beautiful historic building in the centre of Lichfield providing a magnificent setting for civil ceremonies, receptions and other celebrations.

This historic Grade II listed building is centrally located in Bore Street, Lichfield and has been fundamental to the government of the City for over 600 years. Both the Guildhall and the smaller ground floor Guildroom are licensed for civil ceremonies and can also be used separately for wedding receptions. The main hall has oak panelling with a high pitched roof with hammer beams, giving a fine medieval appearance, and can accommodate up to 160 guests. The Guildroom, on the ground floor, has panelled walls and timber ceiling and can seat up to 70 guests.

All of our rooms can be hired individually, or if required, the whole building can be made available.

Bar facilities are available in the main hall and hirers are free to make their own catering arrangements; there is a well-equipped catering quality kitchen on the first floor and our recently installed lift allows disabled access to all floors.
