Lydia Rae is a local jazz singer and composer who has performed all across the UK and Europe, as well as fronting several Big Bands. With experience in Opera, Choral ensembles, Jazz, Gospel and Musical Theatre, Lydia blends the best of all musical genres in both work and voice.

Lydia and the Ensemble will be performing original compositions alongside arrangements of familiar tunes from the Great American Song Book and Golden Age Musical Theatre. The gig will also feature an additional horn section from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Keys – Ben Lawrence

Double Bass – Thomas Marsh

Drums – Reece Downton

Also featuring horns from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire: Tenor Sax – Dan Lockheart, Trumpet – Robin Skerrett, Trombone – Henry Hanssen.
