A crazy mixture of Welsh and Spanish, Ignacio has become one of the most unique voices on the UK circuit and first gained TV recognition when he appeared on ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny.‘ He frequently headlines and MCs in top comedy clubs all over the UK. Ignacio’s online content has racked up nearly 40 million views across all social media channels, resulting in sell-out shows at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Brighton, Cardiff, Reading and Neath. Ignacio has also provided tour support for Tom Stade and performed all over the globe including Spain, Germany, Norway, Greece, Turkey and Malta.

Your MC for the evening is Jamie D’ Souza. Jamie’s stand up has been described as a mix of short stories and one-liners, delivered with an instant likability and an understated confidence. His set covers a range of topics including veganism, his mixed-race heritage and coming to terms with entering adulthood. He reached the finals of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? and The Musical Comedy Awards. He was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award and was also the runner up at Hastings’ Fringe New Comedian of the Year. Jamie has appeared on the BBC Asian Network ‘Stand Up Show’ and featured on the iPlayer and ‘Comedy Central at the Edinburgh Fringe’. He currently performs at many clubs across the UK, including The Comedy Store and Up The Creek.

Swansea-born Josh Elton has over eight years and more than a thousand gigs under his belt on the Welsh comedy circuit. Now based in Cardiff, this Jewish, bilingual comic provides high-energy, raucous humour, proving a hit with any crowd. Since earning the title of the Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up of the Year award in 2017, he has performed right across the UK including the Edinburgh Fringe, Radnor, Neath and Leicester Comedy festivals as well as at top comedy clubs including Stone Circle and The Glee Club.

Bella Humphries is a comedian, actor and writer. Having just finished training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in late 2020 she moved to rural North Wales and started to make a name for herself in the comedy world. She has done tour support for Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Harriet Kemsley, written for BBC Radio Wales and performed at Machynlleth Comedy Festival, Just The Tonic, Backyard Comedy Club, Greenman Festival, co-run her own sold out comedy night and made the regional heats for the BBC New Comedy Award – all whilst breaking in to paid work on the circuit all around the country. In 2023 Bella had a radio feature commissioned which she wrote and presented, called Bleeding Hell. This has since been recommissioned for a second two-part series coming in February 2025. Bella now lives in Cardiff and recently brought her debut hour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show was nominated for the Edinburgh ISH Awards Best Newcomer, Buxton Fringe’s Best Comedy Show and The Women in Comedy Festival’s Best Show Award.

The Alter Comedy Club Producer, Richard Poynton says: ‘The Alter Comedy Club is thrilled to present our April lineup featuring some of the brightest stars in UK comedy. With the brilliant Jamie D'Souza steering the ship as MC, audiences will be treated to the sharp wit of Josh Elton and the delightful insights of Bella Humphries, all culminating in a headline set from the incomparable Ignacio Lopez.
