Hang on to that Valentine’s feeling with an evening of classic love songs.
Hang on to that Valentine’s feeling with an evening of classic love songs guaranteed to pull on those heart strings. Brought to you by Lichfield Actor / Producer Tom Roberts with Musical Direction by Gladstone ‘G’ Wilson the Sunday Acoustic Lounge is back and this time, ‘Love is in the air‘ as we celebrate some of the best love songs ever written.
Hot on the heels of our last, sold-out Sunday Acoustic Lounge in January, we return on February 23 with another programme of chilled out songs from some of the best singers and musicians in the area. Already confirmed to sing are two Acoustic Lounge favourites, Sarah Riches and Clare Andress.
Sarah Riches, a Staffordshire-based independent singer-songwriter and recording artist, whose smooth melodic vocals often remind her listeners of Olivia Newton John. Her latest album ‘I Don’t Give Up Easily’ contains 10 original country songs, varying in mood from upbeat country to bluesy reflection. It was recorded in Nashville in April 2022 by legendary producer Fred Mollin.
Clare Andress has worked in musical theatre and tribute bands, touring all over the world, as well as several UK residencies and as guest vocalist on many cruises. She is still the voice of ‘Frida’ with one of Europe’s most successful ABBA tribute bands. Recently, Clare has been the voice of ‘The Computer’ for boy band JLS’s ‘4th Dimension’ arena tour.
The fabulous vocal talents of Zakk Dienn and Ruby Clarke will complete the line up.
