The annual Lichfield Christmas Fayre is a hugely popular festive market and wonderful day out organised and run by Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
Around 100 stalls filled with wonderful gifts, delicious treats and local brews spread through the city centre, attracting a high volume of footfall from Lichfield and the surrounding towns. Entertainment is provided throughout the day by local choirs and bands, Morris dancers and mischievous elves.
The Chamber is a non-profit organisation whose objective is to support and benefit local businesses in Lichfield. Pitch fees are used to fund the necessary costs of running the fayre, such as security and operating permits. The event is planned, organised and staffed completely by volunteers, including members of the Chamber, local business owners and organisations such as charities or Scout groups.
