A tree drawing workshop using charcoal taught by artist Kate Hammersley
Observe and draw trees using charcoal whilst being immersed in a rural environment. We will be drawing outdoors if the weather is fine or indoors in our studio if it’s wet. There will be demonstrations on using charcoal and how to communicate mass, repeated forms and texture in drawing. An individual approach is encouraged and you will have the opportunity to explore mark making as you develop a personal response to the environment. By the end of the workshop, you will have a drawing to take home. All Levels welcome. Includes materials and tea and coffee, Suitable for: Adults aged 18+ |
