Music & Theatre / Festivals / Arts & Culture Will Pound harmonica/melodeon & Delia Stevens percussion

About this event

Event info

BBC Folk Musician of the Year triple-nominee, harmonica and melodeon player Will Pound joins forces with award-winning percussionist Delia Stevens – a Lichfield Festival regular as part of Kabantu – forging the minds of two future-facing visionaries of their respective genres for a special performance of folk, classical and world music.

Their programme features arrangements of works by Gustav Holst – as part of our Holst150 season – including a selection of The Planets, plus several of his folk song arrangements and their own special arrangement of The Lark Ascending, by his life-long friend, Ralph Vaughan Williams.
