His name is known around the world, and he is always on the road, the calibre the musicians he has worked with include Jackson Browne, Martin Taylor, June Tabor, Richard Hawley, Bonnie Raitt, Danny Thompson, David Hidalgo, Danú, Richard Thompson and Dom Flemons.

He recorded his first album, Golden Vanity in 1976, and his latest one, Home Recordings came out in 2019. He will play a selection of his own songs, and some well-chosen interpretations.

A Lichfield Arts Spokesman said ‘Come and see why he is so widely revered that the Gibson guitar company named him one of the top 30 acoustic guitarists of all time, and why he is also the most highly award-nominated musician in the history of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
