Local buses & trains

Lichfield, Burntwood and the district’s main villages are served by several bus companies who provide a range of services. We advise looking at route and timetable information before travelling. These are available from the Regional Travel Line on 0870 6082608. Call Centro 0121 200 2700 for local bus and trains information.

Motorhomes

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate overnight occupation of vehicles within our city centre car parks.

Owners of motor homes (based on medium-sized vans) are welcome to use our normal parking facilities for day visits, but should be aware that the Birmingham Road Multi Storey car park has a 1.9m height limit and that the Lombard Street and Friary facilities are limited to 2.1m.

If required motor homes can occupy two adjacent bays, but payment will be required for both bays and it is not possible for us to reserve bays for this purpose.

Regrettably, due to the historic nature of our city centre we cannot offer parking for larger custom made motor homes. We would recommend owners of larger vehicles, or those who wish to stay overnight, contact nearby caravan parks, such as Drayton Manor campsite which is a 15 minute drive from the city centre.
